Setting Up Noux Notetaker for Your Meeting
To start using Noux Notetaker, first ensure your meeting platform (Microsoft Teams or Google Meet) is ready.
Inviting the Notetaker:
-
Microsoft Teams: Copy the meeting link from the browser address bar or the "Join Meeting" invitation link.
-
Google Meet: Simply copy the meeting link when attending the meeting.
Once you have the link, go to Noux Notetaker's main menu, select "Record Meeting", and paste the link in the provided field. Click "Send Notetaker" to add the Notetaker to your meeting. The Notetaker joins within seconds but requires the host’s approval to begin recording.
Recording the Meeting
After being added and approved by the host, Noux Notetaker will automatically start recording. Within 5 seconds of joining, the Notetaker will send a message to the meeting chat, introducing itself and informing participants that the meeting is being recorded.
Removing the Notetaker
You can remove the Notetaker at any point during the meeting by either removing it from the participant list or using the "Remove Notetaker from Meeting" option. It will automatically leave when the meeting ends, but it can also be manually removed earlier if needed. Keep in mind, meetings are recorded for up to 80 minutes, after which the Notetaker will exit automatically.
Post-Meeting Features and Analysis
Once the meeting concludes, Noux Notetaker generates a summary that includes:
-
Overview: Meeting date, duration, language, and participant list.
-
Discussion Highlights: Key points discussed during the meeting.
-
Action Items: Agreed-upon tasks for easy follow-up.
-
Transcript: A full transcript of the meeting, searchable by specific terms.
In case of issues: If the AI's summary is highly illogical or, for example, the AI has incorrectly identified the spoken language, you can regenerate the analysis. Open the specific note, click the three dots in the top right corner, and select "Regenerate." Choose the correct language and press "Regenerate." This is handy when the previous analysis has failed, or you are not satisfied with the results. It may take a few minutes to complete. The current analysis will be replaced with the new one, so please save any relevant content elsewhere before regenerating.
